I know Kaitlyn was really interested in the retail side of things, and they had a great selection. I described our project to them and they wished that we could open up shop right next door to them. Wasn't any traffic in the store and i think both parties could benefit from collaborating with one another! Just a thought.

Schmoozing...
word up team. just dropped in to my local Intergrative pharmacy to get the skinny on what they offer. in addition to the herbals, homeopathics, etc. they have a full-time naturapath on staff with advice on teh many different types of remedies. They also sponsor/promote local wellness event around seattle. great layout and location (3rd location in seattle). Check out their website: www.pharmaca.com

that's awesome Justin--location, location, location--and a space could open up right next to an existing business and that is where the incorportation begins. I guess that is why i feel challenged so many times on the numbers before we know the location--but i am working that through. I found it useful to just not take the bus and walk home and begin to scope out the city. I am going to put a map of seattle on my wall, and begin to label/pushpin, plot it out.--all the major gyms, healing practitioners etc, and begin to narrow down the actual location in combination with research. This also brings up again the retail issue and i think that without overcomplicating things we should include some retail revenues in our business model--i mean people drink alot of water for starts.....
